Petition Climate Change Minister for Earth Day.

NZ Climate change

To mark International Earth Day (22nd April), the Vegan Society has challenged the Climate Change Minister James Shaw, to eat vegan for 21 days.

There are many ways to mitigate climate change and we need to be doing as many of them as possible. This is going to require action from governments, corporations, councils and individuals.

Eating vegan is the single biggest action an individual can take to do their part in mitigating climate change. We believe that our Climate Change Minister should be a leader on this and go vegan for the climate.
